Happy New Year!
Wow I didn't realize that I haven't posted anything here for almost a year now...welps, off to the point:
I am attempting to do more drawing and photography and have decided to create me a DeviantArt account to share such things into. So meaning I probably be posting there more often than here, meaning maybe not a lot of posting going on in here.....I am not abandoning my blog, keep in mind, I will see into posting some stuff not relating to artsy stuff on and off.
As for my other 2 blogs, I am thinking of ridding them eventually so I'd be managing just one here rather than 3. (truth be told though, both of those were not as successful as I was hoping them and they were just year specific projects anyways) (I'd rather freeze the two instead but I couldn't find such an option in the settings.) The images on em though I am going to send some of them to the DA account. That'll leave me with this blog and my DA account to manage.
I guess, similary with those 2 blogs, this DA account would be this years project. Let's see how far I can take it this time...
That being said, Thank you for your support and viewing my blog and probably not anytime soon, I WILL post here again.
Have a wonderful 2013!

Spending the (Valentine's) Day with Mio
Happy Valentine's Day to you all! Or as I've also heard it on figure.fm, happy singles awareness day! Well whichever you prefer, I hope you have or had a good day!
Today I spent my day with my lovely Mio, especially because it's Valentine's. She's kept me company throughout the day up till after dinner and kept my spirits up while at work.
She was a bit shy, took her a while to come out from hiding....
Although, she didn't hesitate long to open up the box and take the first piece!

Mio felt at home once she got familiar with where she was.
And it didn't take long until she decided to help out a bit.
Lunch break! Yummy Chicken Katsu Curry.
Mio liked to ride up alongside Miku back to the office.
Whew! Checkout time. Mio and I were both exhausted and ready to enjoy the rest of the day.
On the way home, we went to the store and picked up some salmon for dinner. Mio loves to help preparing dinner!
I also picked these up at the store. These are pretty good, but Mio was a bit embarrassed by what they were called...
At last dinner's ready. I enjoy a nice dinner with Mio for Valentine's.
We also end up enjoying some entertainment during. A Turret Serenade!
After dinner, I surprise Mio with a lovely box of chocolates just for the Valentine's day occasion. Much to say she was totally taken back.
Although, she didn't hesitate long to open up the box and take the first piece!
She was so happy and full after such a great dinner!
And what a better way to end off the day than to watch a few K-ON! episodes along with Mio! Today went a lot better than I had expected!
That was my Valentines day with my favorite girl. I hope you enjoyed my pictures. Taking Mio along throughout the day was more enjoyable than I could have imagined. I think I'll take her along more often, not just for special occasions like today.
To conclude, I'll repeat what I have stated at the beginning. Happy Valentine's/Singles Awareness Day! I hope you had a good and enjoyable one (wish I could've finished the post before the next day to be more on the dot, but oh well). I leave you with 2 more images to celebrate the occasion.

Update Update
Yeah, it's been a long while since I last posted. Figured I'd put this one up making note that I'm still around.
Ideas a brewin' after reading a few figure.fm daily posts and after seeing the photo compilation book of Danboard (amazing pics by the way). If you venture in the posts daily or so, you'd probably see where I'm getting at?
Gots me a new play thing/photo subject to mess around with my camera which I'll start this project probly the beginning of the new year. I hope that I can maintain it throughout the whole year.
Hint of my new play thing/photo subject: "Target a-cqui-red!"

Alright, here we go! Another year's passed for AX and I have to admit, things seemed a bit better this time around than last years. Looked a bit better organized I guess, although I probably didn't attend too many panels this time around. Not too bad for the 20 year anniversary. I did miss a few panels I wanted to check out, both b/c I already had already made plans (missed the Danny Choo 8pm panel) and regretting checking for available tickets (Mikunopolis T_T). All in all, it was pretty fun this year!
Enough of that, Here are a few of my pictures:
Liked this picture as they were crossing the street, showing the contrast of the cosplayers against the crowd behind them. Insinuating the nature of the event.
Here's the Culture Japan booth, complete with 2 Itasha decorated cars (that termed right?). The dashboards were riddled with Mirai Figmas.
Poster of Mirai Millenium. Never imagined Mirai in such a genre...
The lovely Maridah cosplaying as Mirai. Must be popular as ever ever since Otacool 2. Great Job!
Just got into League of Legends and I would've missed this if my cousin didn't point it out.
Om nom nom nom!!!
I don't think the ghillie suit's working here...
Lovely!
I think the best cosplay this year! I just loved it!
Just awesome! Was being sold in the Exhibit hall but for an immense price ><
Strike Freedom PG is just awesome! I'd like to get this, but, talking about immense prices, this ended up being $100 more than what I previously thought. Sometime later down the line...
Danny!!!! I ran into him in the Exhibit hall while he was browsing. Just walked up behind me and looked at the same display case and in my mind I was like "Woah hey it's Danny!!!!!". Chatted for a min or 2 (didn't want to keep him from his browsing) and took this photo! Thanks for coming out again Danny!
Incidentally, these were in the display when Danny walked up next to me.
Finally, pics of a few of my treasures this year! Noteworthy in this one is the Mikunopolis program on the left, Miku keychain to the right of that, and a mini ocarina bottom center.
Prints from a popular artist. I get his prints every year!
Finally, 2 large Mirai banners. These are awesome because it's not fragile paper-like material. pretty durable!
Ok....more captions than I thought I would put down. Next post will feature pics from the Meet and Greet with Danny.

Konpeitou!!!!! and Stocking too!!!!
Been a while since I put up any images. So here we go:
Went to Little Tokyo yesterday and checked out the market down there [Marukai, just underneath Kinokuniya] and I came across these little pieces of joy:
Little sugar candies called Konpeito (or Konpeitou if reading the Hiragana). I saw these and it brought me back to when I watched the anime "Stellvia of the Universe". The candies are exactly what was in the series. And I decided to pick up 2 bags. I guess you can describe the taste as sugar rock candies (literally).
One of my newly acquired companions is having a blast w/ them:
Yep that's Stocking Nendoroid!A perfect combination!
A side note about Stocking, I ended up buying an additional one as a travel companion after I saw what possiblities I could do while traveling! Can't wait to bring her out on trips!
What? Oh yeah! My AX11 recap! It's been a month. Next post, I'll summarize as short as I can and add a lot of my pictures.
