First off, Week 20 theme pic is up: 6 inches.
Next up, I've been super busy this past 2 weeks, hopefully the worst is done. I haven't posted since last week. Although I've gone longer b/t posts, seems I ought to have done a post or 2 in between. Anyways, my copy of Evangelion 2.0 finally came in and I was able to watch it. Totally awesome ( this is coming from someone that's a total eva fan so...)! And I also got surprised by the song they inserted into the "reawakening" scene.
Basically, I am a K-ON! fan also and know the songs they play, and "Tsubasa wo Kudasai", I thought, was an original K-ON! song, until...........the song ended up playing in the movie. It was a "this song sounds familiar......hey, wait a minute" moment. Well, that happened.
And now I know the rough story of Mari Makinami Illustrious and Eva02 The Beast. I had the 2 Revoltech figures and now understand why Eva 02 became like that and why Mari has a psychotic look on one of her faces.
Coincidentally and a bit off topic, the figma Mari was just up on preorder and I got a couple prior to posting this. Partially the figma and also partially that she comes with the entry plug cockpit as well. So cool!!! This is actually a benchmark for figmas, this being the first Evangelion figma out there (And it's not even Rei or Asuka). I'm so excited!
Ok, enough of that, I'll leave with one pic I took with my recently received revoltech Mari figure. The pose came naturally as I was testing her articulations and thought "I gotta get a shot of this". Enjoy

Trying to keep it short
I just decided to put a quick one up to end my weekend. First off, I'm a Lostie, and watched the final episode of Lost. Very enjoyable, yet still some spots still unanswered. Ah well, it gave a nice closure to the series :).
Next after browsing online a bit I found out that a new guest in this year's AX would be none other than Danny Choo! It'd be awesome to meet him although I know it will be a madhouse to get to meet him or go to his panels (sorry, madhouse was the only word that came to mind at the time). But that isn't saying that I won't try and attend any of his events!
Okay, That'll be all. gotta prep up for this week which I don't think will be any better than last week -_-.
Oh, and week 20's photo has been posted up: 6 inches.

What a crappy week / What I DIDN'T Preorder
Bleh....I'm having such a crappy week this week. It felt like it was pretty normal up to the middle of this week until reality hit me today at work. Not to say anything bad about work, it's just that there was a lot more that I need to take care of on my end that made me stay a lot longer in the office than I normally do. The work's gotta get done though and I am somewhat in catch-up mode. This might eat up my weekend as well T_T...I need a good break after this and next week. (Not to mention I am standby for jury duty for this and next week. I won't get into details on this. I am just lucky that I didn't get called in this week. Who knows how much longer I'd be at work if I was.)
Mid-day today, I got around to thinking that I'd need a good break after this. Cue in the week of Anime Expo; less than 7 weeks away. Originally was going to take at least half of Wed to Fri for that, I am thinking of taking that whole week off. Thus, the weekend before, those 5 weekdays, the following weekend and that Monday off for 4th of July. That'd be a nice break.
Finally, on this post, just mentioning two of the latest pre-orders, both Figmas: Kawamura Yu and Izayoi Sakuya.
Both end up being limited edition figmas, and I know Izayoi better than Yu. Surprisingly though, I got preorders for Yu somewhat on impulse ; I find Izayoi up for preorder already, yet I am resisting on making any preorders for her. WHAAATTT???? I dunno, something in my mind is actually making me want to pass up on this one for some reason. In the long run, I guess it'd be for the best for me, my room, my wallet, my sanity, etc. *shrug* Kinda odd that I'd get a LE of a figma that I know pretty much nothing about and pass on a LE that I know even a bit more about.
Ok, starting to get lengthy. I'll call it quits here. One more thing quickly, I posted up the next pic for the photo challenge ("The Coast") up at 6 inches. Enjoy!

Photo Challenge: Sexy/ Past theme: Bedtime
I have posted up the next themed picture up at "6 inches" featuring Week 18: Sexy and one past theme of Week 2: Bedtime. Enjoy!
A very fun time in SD.
My cousin had her wedding this past weekend down in San Diego and I have to admit that it was one of my most fun weekends I have had in a very long time! Lots of partying and Lots and lots of drinking. The wedding went on with minimal flaws that it seemed almost perfect. Congratulations Chantel and Anthony!!!! My best wishes to the both of you!! I can't wait until we get to see the professional pictures; they will look awesome!
On top of all that fun-ness, I was able to pull out my camera and do various shots around downtown and such. As I did with the SD Wild Animal Park post I did, I'll place in the good ones I have taken throughout the weekend. I was excited also because I was able to do a bit more outdoor figure shooting with one of my figures! Well, it was in a popular SD spot in the not-to-early morning, just before it got uber crowded. I might've gotten a few looks from the few passerby's but whatever will toughen my skin! >< An outing with Nendoroid Petit Megurine Luka!!! Coming in an upcoming post; kinda late at the moment.
To leave off, here is one of the pictures I was able to take featuring Nendoroid Kagamiku with the setting sun! More pictures to come! Enjoy!!

Life at 6 inches tall
On going through with my weekly photo challenge, I have created another blog dedicated to the themed photos. The name is as what's shown on this post's title: I hope it explains the idea, but if not: If figures were "alive" what would they do in a world close to 10x their size? I'd make photos based on weekly themes from a site called Photo Friday.
I'll post here also when I have uploaded the photo for the week.
Well, enough of that. Please make a trip to my 2nd blog and I hope you enjoy it!
