Just quickly. Some photos taken from my Droid's camera:
Noel at IHOP enjoying some OJ
Noel at Olive Garden ready for some neverending pasta. Yum!!
Does adding greens w/ miso vinaigarette really make this Japanese food? Take that out and it's Mexican...
On the flip side.... :
Uh....that's brown rice??

New Awesome Light Writing!
Ok for Part 2 of my photo shooting catchup, I have created some new light writing shots, mostly featuring BRS. And from what I've looked at, they came out pretty awesome!!!
My Favorite one. Like the close up and the effect of the flame.
This last one of the above 4 is probably the best because the flame is the most blue.
And now with her shooting a giant laser out of the Rock Cannon (for some reason). Her Flame could have been better but the latter photos didn't have a nice beam effect that this one dones.
And finally, Unit 01 Awakened with the halo overhead. An improvement from the previous one I did in that I secured the light to a wheel and spun it around during the shot. It's a lot more even yet the non-straightness in it gives it a nice touch, I think.

Another Fave. Only seeing the lower half but the blue flame stands out above.

Finally a new 4koma!
Ok, so for this week I am able to do a lot more photo shoots at home more so than normally so I can do a lot of catch up in some areas. Here's finally a new 4koma that I had on the backburner since I obtained the revoltech Batman figure. Enjoy!
And on a side note, and from my previous post, no I still didn't get through watching Cloverfield without turning away or looking blurry (not looking through my glasses and thus seeing the screen as a blur). Got me thinking: Revoltech is covering most sci-fi monsters both Japanese and American (surprisingly not Godzilla yet but that's besides the point); I wonder if they'd ever get to making a Cloverfield Monster Revoltech. That, then would where I would definitely be able to face it because I'd think it'd be cool to have. I'm all over that if that were to happen! ....I'm pretty weird, huh?...

Cloverfield
Seems that Cloverfield is finally being shown on television (on FX). Now I admit that I although I do enjoy this movie, one of my favorite monster movies, I've only seen it that one time in the theatre, and I'm kinda freaked out in watching it again. Just seeing the monster freaks me out! maybe I can slowly work it in so I get used to seeing it :P

Trip to Monterey Bay with Mio
So I recently went on a trip with my folks up to Monterey Bay via PCH and have taken a bunch of pictures. My travel figma companion, lovely Mio, decided to come along for the trip and got into some of the pictures! (Although I do have many many shots from the trip and not to overload the post, here're the ones featuring Mio (and friends):
First stop: at an inn along the PCH at Ragged Point. There were few paths along the ridge and this one shows the scariness that is the PCH. If you notice the horizontal rows of trees, that's pretty much where the road is! Scarry!!!!
Lunch break at the same inn. Mio's gathering our cold waters.
Aand Mio presenting a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Simple yet kept me content until we hit up Monterey later that day :P
Later, in Monterey, having dinner at Fisherman's Wharf.
Mio: "Hmm what should we get? A lot of choices" Well whenever I think of dining at a Fisherman's Wharf, what always comes to mind is.......
Clam chowder in a sourdough Bread bowl!! Mio: "Wow! Looks delicious!"
Mio: "Ugghh.. I think I had enough of that for now..."
Next morning, Mio's still recuperating from the heavy dinner, Noel decided to head out with me in her stead. She decides to overlook the bay looking for some seals scattered about.
Noel:"Hmm none here..."
Mio finally got up and came about for some nice coast and beach shots
"Uhh Mio, I can see your....." Mio:"?.............!!!"
And that's my trip with my lovely companion. I hope to bring her along a lot more often on my trips all around!
